BAGHDAD: The Iraqi Ministry of Health called on the parliament to exclude its budget from any cuts for this year, pointing out any cuts to their budget will complicate their work, a ministerial statement announced today.
The statement, as received by Aswat al-Iraq, pointed out that by ministry's budget was decreased by 4 percent, which is equivalent to 316 billion dinars.
It added that 50 percent of the budget is spent on salaries and the rest goes towards health projects.
