AMMAN — A set of measures were taken in response to Marka administrator’s request following a complaint made after detecting cracks in a residential building, owned by a housing company, in Tabarbour’s Tareq region, according to the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM).

In a statement, GAM said that a joint committee of public safety, with the Royal Scientific Society, checked the site, detecting cracks in the garage floor.

The committee, after the detection on the building that is 10 years old, has decided to oblige the housing owner to address all structural defects under the supervision of a specialised engineering office and submit a final report on the safety of the building.
