Fujairah, Dec 25th, 2010 (WAM) -- Crown Prince of Fujairah HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi offered Prayer for Rain (Salat-al-Istisqa) at the Omer-bin-Abdelaziz Mosque this morning.
A number of Sheikhs, senior officials and a large number of worshipers including citizens and residents also joined the Ruler in the rain prayers. The prayer was offered today across the country in line with the directives of President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Hon. Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sa'adi led the prayers, after which he gave a sermon calling on the people to purify their hearts through piety and ask for mercy from God Almighty.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2010.
