BEIRUT: An electric car made wholly in Lebanon has made its debut. It marks a double first for the Mediterranean country, that has never manufactured a car and is wracked by economic crisis and power cuts.
The “Quds Rise” as it is known, from the Arabic name for Jerusalem, is the project of Lebanese-born Palestinian businessman Jihad Mohammad.
