"The Multi-National Force's (MNF) U.S. reconstruction team has opened the factory, located at the storehouse of the Diwaniya Education Department in al-Jazaer neighborhood, downtown Diwaniya," a media advisor in the team, Ahmed al-Quseer, told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The total cost of the project was $25,000 U.S. dollars, he added.
Diwaniya, the capital city of Diwaniya, lies 180 km south of Baghdad.
