Sharjah: Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (Sewa) signed an agreement with etisalat to enable the public to pay their monthly bills via any etisalat cash payments machine in the country.

According to Ebrahim Rashid Deemas, deputy director general of Sewa, the new service is designed to better serve consumers in tune with the rapid urbanisation of Sharjah.

He expressed gratitude to etisalat for its cooperation in this area, including the public interest and customer service.

He said an integrated plan being implemented includes the opening of new branch offices across Sharjah.
