Dubai: Etihad Airways said on Monday it will operate three extra flights a week between Johannesburg and Abu Dhabi from July through to September.
The announcement of the additional flights come a month after South African Airways stopped flying to Abu Dhabi from Johannesburg, axing its codeshare with the Abu Dhabi airline.
Etihad will operate an additional flight to Johannesburg on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in July and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in August and September, according to an emailed statement.
