Ajman, Apr 16th, 2013 (WAM)--Ajman Department of Economic Development has signed co-operative agreement with Entrepreneurs Forum in Dubai, to develop and support small & medium entrepreneurs through exchanging experience between the two establishments.

The deal aims to encourage the youth to practise private business, in the framework of investment environment designed by federal ministries and local departments under guidance and support of the country leaders. The agreement was signed by Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashimi, commissioned GM of Department, and by Abdel Moniem bin Eissa Al Sarkal, Chairman of Board of directors of the Entrepreneurs Forum in Dubai. Signing ceremonies were attended by a number of officials in the department and the forum board of Directors members.

After signing agreement, Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashimi expressed his happiness for economic partnership that contributes to enhancement of mutual co-operation in SMEs projects in the emirate, based on origination and enhancement in the role of such projects in sustainable and comprehensive economic development.

He stated that the big development witnessed in SMEs projects sector in UAE, is due to promising economic environment for projects, in addition to the importance of experience exchange, viewing the Entrepreneurs Forum practice in this regard and providing all the required facilities, training courses, workshops and consultations to support investment in and outside the Emirates of Ajman.

Al Hashimi added that, as per this agreement, some mechanisms and programmes for mutual co-operation aiming to develop the sector of SMEs projects in the Emirate of Ajman and to prepare the ideal investment environment for these projects comprising work programmes, exchange of information in the field of research & studies related to SMEs projects, and to provide the support required in the field of training, qualification and consultation to the owners of these projects.

On his part, Abdel Moniem bin Eissa Al Sarkal appreciated keenness of Ajman Department of Economic Development on enhancing the relations and co-operation among companies, government establishments & departments and institutions supporting SMEs projects to develop and promote the private activities, to establish full economic partnership between all parties concerned with extending the facilities, the services and the chances to participate in local and international markets and exhibitions for promotion and marketing, for the owners of SMEs projects.

Al Sarkal assured that the forum will participate in expanding the field of marketing & promotion activities of project owners, in addition to contribution in all training programmes arranged to develop and promote the owners capability, and to participate in periodical meetings and forums aiming to extend the knowledge among the owners of projects and to enhance mutual co-operation.

He denoted that since its establishment, the Entrepreneurs Forum has aimed to encourage national youth to exercise private activities and to adopt all ideas and suggestions for development of SMEs projects, to adopt other activities and programmes that help in promotion of SMEs projects, and to adopt activities and programmes aiming to increase communication and collective work, to use efforts in facing the challenges in front of owners of SMEs projects.

At the end of agreement signing ceremonies, memorial trophies were exchanged by the two parties.
