Under the auspices of Iranian Fuel Conservation Company (IFCO), energy optimization projects worth $270 billion will be implemented across the country by the end of the Sixth Five-Year Development Plan (2020).
Nosratollah Seyfi, managing director of IFCO, also told IRNA the company's new policy is to guide monetary resources to energy consumption optimization plans.
Seyfi noted that the company won't execute the projects, which will be implemented under IFCO's supervision.
"With the implementation of these projects by 2025, $1.1 billion would be returned," he said.
