Abu Dhabi, 29th March 2010 (WAM) -- The Emirates Palace will showcase its premium and luxury products and services at the Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (GIBTM).

Taking place at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from March 29 to 31, the GIBTM is the dedicated international event for the business travel and meetings industry (MICE) in the Gulf and Middle East region.

Janet Abrahams, Executive Director of Sales & Marketing, Emirates Palace, said GIBTM offers an unrivalled opportunity for the Emirates Palace to market its exciting offers for the spring and summer holidays so as to attract more group of elite holidaymakers.

''We are expecting bookings to double in the upcoming summer season. Signs are promising of a hectic, busy tourist season during the summer and throughout 2011,'' she said.

''Emirates Palace is offering special, unique packages up to December 2010 to mark its fifth anniversary,' she added.

''We are expecting a busy summer thanks to early reservations, and enthusiastic turn out to the customised offers,''she said.

According to her, the Palace's road show will continue during the Arabian Travel Market next May in Dubai.

She disclosed that the Emirates Palace has struck contracts with travel and tourism agencies and operators in a number of European, American and Asian countries for 2011 and 2012.

''We have conducted positive business talks with tour operatorsto have access to new attractive markets in China, South America, Norway and Japan to attract more influx of high-end tourists,''she added.
