DUBAI, 22nd January, 2014 (WAM) -- Emirates Gas LLC (EMGAS), a subsidiary of the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), has extended its support as the ?Young Minds Partner? of the Pragyan inter-school quiz contest, organised by the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT, Trichy) of Indian at the Etisalat Academy recently.
Providing school students in the U.A.E. an equal opportunity to participate with an internationally renowned technical institution, the inter-school quiz featured contestants from over 40 schools in the U.A.E., bringing together 150 participants joining with a fraternity of more than 10,000 students who are expected to be part of ?Pragyan? 2014. The quiz is part of the global Tech Fest programme of NIT Trichy, with questions set by the students themselves. Hesham Ali Mustafa, Senior Director ? ENOC Gas Marketing, Head of International Business Development and General Manager of Emirates Gas LLC said: "Our support to the inter-school quiz contest organised by NIT Trichy was part of our corporate social responsibility commitment to support the youth and encourage them to further strengthen their knowledge and skills through their participation in international events.
