Cairo –  Egypt’s minister of housing Assem El-Gazzar announced that investments in New Alamein City have reached EGP 25 billion to date.

The new city covers an area of 48,000 feddans with a 14-kilometre coastline, El-Gazzar added on the sidelines of ‘The Big Construct Egypt’ exhibition on Monday.

In July, Mohamed Zaghloul, project manager at the Council of New Alamein City, said that the first phase of New Alamein City Project, spanning over 24,000 feddans, is under construction with total investments of EGP 75 billion.
