Abu Dhabi, April 21th, 2009 (WAM)--The reservation of labour residential complexes in Al Mafraq and Hamim Bridge areas commenced today in the presence of developers who participated in the construction.
The reservation programme, which was inaugurated Tuesday by Eng. Khadem Sawayeh Al Muhairi, the acting CEO of the Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones, was carried out upon the instructions of HH Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Chairman of Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones. The transfer of workers from Mohammed bin Zayed City to the new workers cities in Al Mafraq and Hamim Bridges follows the leadership instructions to the corporation to evacuate the labour complexes at Mohammed bin Zayed city. Al Muhairi expressed his thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Hamed for his continuous follow up of all projects of the corporation and his directives to upgrade all aspects which the corporation wishes to realize in accordance with the outlined strategic plan that aims at supporting the local economy in general and the industrial sector in particular.He noted that the corporation announced the floating of residential units in Al Mafraq and Hamim Bridge areas, adding that the submission of applications is restricted to accommodating the companies renting in Mohammad Bin Zayed City in sector M3, M4, M5, M6, and M7, which include the direct lease contracts and subcontracts.
Al Muhairi said that the submission of applications has started in the main office of the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economical Zones in ICAD, indicating that the housing applications will be submitted in accordance with dates already published in the newspapers as follows:Sector M3 from 19.04 to 23.04, Sector M4 from 26.04 to 30.04, Sector M5 from 03.05 to 07.05, Sector M6 from, 10.05 to 14.05 and Sector M7 from 17.05 to 21.05. He said that the above dates were specified as mentioned in order to facilitate the matter to the companies, and to give the concerned companies sufficient time to choose suitable residence to its workers in accordance with a flexible system of choosing in order to save their time and effort.
