DUBAI: A high-level delegation led by Karine Roy Camille, Chairman of Maison de Martinique, Tourism and Economic of the Martinique Islands, of the Caribbean Sea, Philip Eadie, CEO, Development and Studies in Caribbean (CED) and Group Project Engineering Management and Infrastructure, visited Drydocks World, the well-established international player in ship repair, conversion, new build and engineering, a day after the announcement of its MoU with Big Invest Consult AG for constructing the revolutionary Water Discus Hotel, which is both above and underwater at the Annual Investment Conference 2012, Dubai.
The visiting team was received by Khamis Juma Buamim Chairman of Drydocks World and Maritime World. The meeting was attended by Ali Bin Towaih, Vice President - Business Development, Strategies and Administration and Ahmed Amin, Business Relations Manager. The delegation was given an overview of the maritime capabilities of Dubai and the commitment to develop trade and international cooperation, which is part of the government vision. The delegation was given a full presentation and detailed overview of the new marine project concept - a 'Dream City' and the effect on the environment, the international acknowledgement of its effectiveness in reducing soil erosion and rehabilitation of coastal systems to marine life.
