Management Dubai,May 32rd, 2007 (WAM)- Dubai Institute for Human Resources Development (DIHRD) organised ?Knowledge Management Forum?, a series of educational lectures on human capacity building.
The forum was attended by Dr. Yousuf Al Akraf, Vice chairman of DIHRD,Dr. Hamad Shaibani, Director General of Dubai Islamic Affairs and charitableActivities Department, Ahmed Nusseirat, General Coordinator of the DubaiGovernment Excellence Programme, Mohamed Jassim, CEO of DIHRD, in additionto a number of knowledge management professionals, quality and excellencespecialists, and IT Specialists from different Public and Private organisationsin Dubai. In his opening remarks, Dr. Yousuf Al Akraf said: "Knowledge is a treasurewhich helps organisations improve their processes and develop competenciesin administration, research, and IT The quality and excellence programmesin the UAE recommend that organisations focus on knowledge management:its creation, selection, organisation, utilisation, and spreading." Participants included members from a number of leading public and privatesector organisations such as e-Government, Dubai Municipality, Tejari,and Oracle.
