Pakistani lawmaker on Thursday said that the Islamic Revolution has been flourishing in Iran despite the Western conspiracies.

Talking to IRNA, Senator Zafar Ali Shah of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz agreed with the statement of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei that the US government has been involved in a variety of anti-Iran campaign over the past 34 years since victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

The Supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting with thousands of Iranian students on the eve of National Students Day (November 3rd.)

'US cannot weaken the Islamic Revolution (of Iran),' noted the Senator.

The political leader was of the view that the late founder of the Islamic RePublic of Iran Imam Khomeini had led the Iranian nation in difficult times and showed a right path to his nation. 'Imam Khomeini was not only an Iranian leader but he was the leader of whole Muslim Ummah,' he said.

The lawmaker said that Imam Khomeini had taught the people how to stand firm against the western hegemony by following the Islamic principles.

'US and Zionist regime are afraid of the strength of the Islamic Revolution which is spreading in the entire Muslim world, especially in the Middle East,' he viewed.

He went on to say that the impact of the Islamic Revolution can be seen everywhere in the world.

'US and the Zionist regime are afraid of the Islamic system of Iran,' said the Senator.

Zafar Ali Shah added that today Islamic Revolution is getting strong day-by-day.

The PML-N leader added that the US and the Zionist regime are making all out efforts to destabilize Iran, but by the grace of Allah Almighty the Islamic Republic is progressing in all sectors.

Expressing his opinion, the political leader said that Imam Khomeini was a beacon light for the whole Muslim world. 'We should follow the teachings of Imam Khomeini to counter the western hegemony,' he strongly believed.

The US prestige has been shattered and demolished as their principles and values are on fall, said the Supreme Leader.

Zafar Ali Shah cementing over the statement of the Supreme Leader said that the US is the biggest violator of human rights and the Supreme Leader has rightly pointed out that the US values are on the fall.

'US government has become a slave of the Zionist regime,' he said. The Senator advised US to come out the Zionists influence and follow an independent policy.

They are very submitted to Zionists, the Supreme Leader said adding that this is very shameful that the US presidential candidates try to win the support of the Zionists.
