The chairman of the Chahar Mahal Bakhtiari Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Mines said on Tuesday that the province and Kuwait City were declared sister cities.
Mohammad-Reza Nabavi said that CMBakhtiari province and Kuwait City will develop business, trade and commercial relations lifting barriers in this respect.
He said that direct air flights have been established from Shahrekord to Kuwait City and vice-versa, IRNA reported.
He said that the two cities' chambers of commerce will hold meetings over expanding trade cooperation.
Moreover, the CMBakhtiari trade tours will be operated in three Asian countries comprising Kuwait, India and Kyrgyzstan.
The Iranian chairman said that the province has considerable potentials for trade and economic cooperation with those countries.
Chahar Mahal Bakhtiari province has 15 members being skilled at industry, Nabavi said.
Besides, the province annually exports dlrs 30-40 million worth commodities to different countries, the Persian Gulf states in particular.
