Doha: The Cabinet which met on the chairmanship of the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani at the Emiri Diwan last evening, reviewed a letter by the Minister of Economy and Finance on the revision of rental of light cars.
The Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Sheikh Nasser bin Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Al Thani announced the following:
The Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda and took the following decisions:
Approved a draft decision of the Cabinet endorsing a decision of the Board of Directors of Qatar Petroleum No. (11) of 2011 on the approval of establishing a company as "Barzan Gas Co Ltd" Qatari shareholding company. Approved a draft decision of the Cabinet regarding the establishment of the Consulting Committee on Statistics.
Approved a draft decision of the Minister of Environment on the adoption of Gulf regulations and technical manuals as Qatari guides and approved a draft decision of the Minister of Environment on the adoption of certain Gulf technical regulations and standards technical as Qatari ones.
Approved the implementation of the provisions of Law No. (24) of 2002 on retirement and pensions for Qatari employees at the Arab Centre for Research and Policy Studies and the Qatar Assistive Technology (Mada).
The Cabinet reviewed the letter by the Minister of Economy and Finance on the revision of rental light cars through the Office of the National Organisation for taxi and took the appropriate decision.
The Cabinet also approved a draft agreement for cooperation in the field of environment and sustainable development between the Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
Approved a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of agriculture and veterinary between Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
Approved a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the protection of intellectual property rights between the State of Qatar and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).
