Manama: Construction of the first phase of the multi-stage East Sitra residential town is expected to start in the last quarter of this year.

Land-levelling is on track despite the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic. 

Agreements were signed last December with the China Machinery Engineering Corporation to carry out the project, which includes more than 3,000 housing units and plots.
