Bahrain International Airport's (BIA) Overflow Car Park has been reopened to accommodate the expected surge in passenger flow during upcoming peak periods, a report said.

The car park is located north of the runway within the airport’s premises on Galali Road and consists of 4,000 parking spaces. It also has air-conditioned passenger waiting areas and other support facilities, said a report in Bahrain News Agency (BNA) citing a statement from Bahrain Airport Company (BAC).

The tariff at the Overflow Car Park is BD1.5 ($3.9) and includes a complimentary shuttle service to transfer passengers to and from the terminal building every 30 minutes, it said.
