BAGHDAD: Baghdad's Mayor Sabir al-Issawi called on Swedish firms to participate in executing rebuilding projects in the Iraqi capital.
"Al-Issawi received an official Swedish delegation in his office in Baghdad," said a release issued by the Baghdad Mayoralty on Monday as received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
It explained that the two sides discussed methods to reinforce mutual relations.
"The Baghdad Mayoralty is determined to bring well-known international firms to execute projects in the capital," the statement said.
The release illuminated that al-Issawi told the Swedish side that his mayoralty seeks to expand cooperation with Swedish firms.
