LIMA, May 12 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador Walid Ahmad Al-Kandari presented his credentials on Monday to the President of Peru Dr. Alan Garci'a P{rez as a non-resident Ambassador to Peru.
That came during a ceremony held in the Presidential Palace with the attendance of Minister of Foreign relations Jose Antonio Garcia Belaunde, and top state officials.
Ambassador Al-Kandari told KUNA, that he forwarded regards of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the President of Peru, stressing on Kuwait's keenness to boost relations between the two countries.
He added, President Garci'a also forwarded his regards to H.H. the Amir, expressing hopes that bilateral relations would develop between the two countries.
Ambassador Al-Kandari is currently Kuwait's Ambassador to Brazil, and a non-resident Ambassador to Ecuador.
