Al Ain, 13th Dec. 2009 (WAM) -- Alqua Center for Care and Rehabilitation of Special Needs Persons, part of Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation,has launched a cinema programme for children to enhance the cultural and entertainment for its students.
In a statement on this occasion, Sabha Al-Dirie, Director of the Center, confirmed the importance of the cinema industry in increasing the public's awareness along with providing them with the culture necessary to life through transfer of expertise and experiences of others in addition to its role in shaping the awareness of children as a major contributor of culture and entertainment. Also, she added that the launch of this project will assist in developing the cognitive and entertainment skills for the UAE's citizens with special needs as image helps in the promotion of the educational process and instills some educational values.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2009.
