DOHA: Al Bidaa Tower has won the prestigious 'The Architecture Award for Qatar in the Office Development Category' at The 2010 Bloomberg Arabian Property Awards in Dubai.

The awards, part of a prestigious International Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television, Google UK, New York Times and The International Herald Tribune were recently presented during a gala dinner at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.

Al Bidaa Tower with its 43-storey twisting Design stands out for its Build, Specification, and Finish. Standing out among West Bay's multiple developments, Al Bidaa Tower has captured the attention of international visitors and locals alike since its unveiling earlier this year.

GHD Manager Qatar Michael Kemp said, "We are extremely proud for Al Bidda Tower to have been recognised with this award. Being judged by a group of 50 professionals considered to be global industry leaders is an honour to GHD. This award acknowledges the quality of work produced by our diverse local team."

The Arabian Property Awards form part of the International Property Awards, dedicated to identifying the most outstanding professionals across the globe. Later this year, winners from the Arabian Property Awards will compete with winning companies from Europe and Africa, the UK, the Americas and Asia Pacific to be acknowledged as the world's best in each category.
