Al Babain Power and Telecommunications Company (the Company) announces the decision of the Board of Directors (the Board) acceptance of the resignation of the Companys General Manager Mr. Abdulaziz Wahaibi with effect from 15 /02 / 2012. The Board appreciates the contribution provided by Mr. Abdulaziz Wahaibi and wishes to take this opportunity to thank him for his services to the Company during his tenure.
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Dakheel as the new General Manager of the Company effective from 15 /02 /2012 The Board wishes him success in his new position.
Mr. Al-Dakheel is a highly qualified Saudi national who has a wealth of experience in leading and managing industrial companies across a variety of business development related aspects. He has worked in different leading companies such as Saudi Basic Industries (Sabic), Spimaco Pharmaceutical Industries, and recently was the General Manager in one of the Obeikan Industrial Investment Group affiliates.
Mr. Al-Dakheel holds a BSc Degree in Industrial Management from King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals in Dharan and has completed the Advanced Project Management Program from Tokyo Engineering Corporation in Japan. In addition to that, he has attended many training seminars relating to the modern techniques of executive management and leadership. He has also participated in various specialized industrial conferences.
