Regional leader in industrial supplies in the GCC and a Saudi group of companies, Alaa For Industry (AFI), yesterday announced the launch of new generation of screw compressors rolled out by German technology solutions provider and a worldwide leading supplier of advanced compressed air technology, ALUP. The group unveiled the latest technologies in its screw compressor range at a road show held in the Kingdom at the Movenpick hotel. AFI with a presence in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and the United States besides Saudi Arabia is owned by Ibrahim Ali Al- Rashoodi and has its head office in neighbouring Dammam.
Established in 1984, AFI was originally engaged in contracting and supply and service of hydraulic systems for transport industry before diversifying into various sectors including refineries, petrochemicals, down-stream, support industry and transport and logistics. Developing new solutions for a wide range of industrial applications, the company specialises in industrial supplies dealing in pneumatics, hydraulics, sealing solutions, mechanical power transmission, hoses and fittings, ultra-high pressure technology and so on with a wide network of over 25 companies across the region.
