DAMASCUS - Under the patronage of President Bashar al-Assad , the 20th session of Ministerial Council of the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization (AIDMO) opened deliberations Tuesday with the participation of Arab Industry Ministers.
The Arab Ministers will discuss the latest world economic developments and their reflect on the Arab economy and Arab industry, the implementation of Arab industrial strategy and supporting the AIDMO financially and technically to be able to perform all the missions.
The Ministers also discuss the new organizational structure of the organization and means of activating the relation among the AIDMO, industrial unions and Arab and regional chambers.
The possibility of establishing Arab industrial development bank to support the establishment of small and medium projects and cognitive industries that help creating new job opportunities to contribute in putting an end to the unemployment phenomenon in the Arab countries will be discussed.
