Tehran - Two stories of the landmark Milad Tower will be transformed into a museum featuring 1979 Revolution and Sacred Defense (Iraqi-imposed war 1980-88) by Tehran Municipality Cultural Artistic Organization. Announcing this, head of Tehran Municipality's (TM) Headquarters for Ten-Day Dawn, (Revolution festivities) Ahmad Nourian said that all preliminary works to that effect have been undertaken and the organization will start its activities as soon as the two stories are ceded.

TM will hold various programs during Ten -Day Dawn to introduce the revolution's role in contemporary world, explain its cultural approaches and discuss combats of Iran's nation, he noted.

A total of 1,357 cultural, social and artistic programs have been devised by TM for this year's celebrations, Nourian said, all the programs will be compiled and published in a book.

Creating the longest painting extending from Imam Hossein Square to Enqelab Square, holding tours, honoring 30 publishers, producing 30 short films on the Revolution and publishing a ten-volume book on the achievements of the Revolution are among the programs to be held by the headquarters.
