ABU DHABI, 26th March, 2017 (WAM)--The National Centre of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS), has expected that the weather would be unstable within next 24 hours.

In a statement, it added that the sky will remain clouded in various parts of the country, accompanied by heavy rains and occasional thunderous cumulative clouds. "This will decrease gradually on Monday night and Tuesday morning," it added.

The centre said the southeasterly to northeasterly winds will be moderate and sometimes strong and active, along with a cloud activity. "The sea will be turbulent to severe with the presence of cloud over the Arabian Gulf, while the Sea of Oman will be sometimes turbulent."The NCMS called on motorists to exercise caution during the rainfall and low horizontal visibility, urging them to move away from water gathering places, especially near highlands and running valleys. It also urged seafarers to keep away from the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman during this period due to turbulence.
