The Senior Vice-President for Middle East operations for TOTAL Group, Mr. Ladislas Paszkiewicz, said in a meeting on January 7 with Prime Minister Dr. Ali Mujawar that TOTAL Group plans to continue expanding oil and gas operations in Yemen.
Mr. Paszkiewicz emphasized TOTAL's keenness to have all objectives for the Yemen LNG project completed in accordance with the project's timeline. He also confirmed TOTAL's commitment to exploring new oil reserves but also natural gas.
Prime Minister Mujawar pointed out the strength of the existing cooperation between the Yemeni Government and TOTAL Group and the importance for both parties to strengthen this cooperation. He expressed his satisfaction over the finalization of cooperative agreements between SAFER and Yemen LNG.
Last Sunday, Mr. Paszkiewicz met with Minister of Finance, Mr. Noman Al-Suhaibi, and discussed with him potential cooperation relations between Yemen and TOTAL.
