The Jawad Business Group announced yesterday life insurance coverage for all its employees. The move is expected to benefit more than 4,000 employees of the group working across the GCC nations.
Armour Insurance, a subsidiary of the Jawad Business Group, facilitated the deal through Solidarity Insurance, whereby employees earning below BD600 would be given life insurance worth $25,000 and those earning above that policy worth $50,000. The premium on these policies will be borne by the company.
"As we continue to grow and strive to reach greater heights as a company, we must recognise the contribution that each and every employee makes in this endeavor and this is one way of thanking them for their hard work and unstinting dedication," said Faisal Jawad, chairman, Jawad Business Group.
The Jawad Business Group is among the few companies in the kingdom and the region to offer its staff comprehensive life insurance policies.
