JEDDAH: In cooperation with the public and private sectors, Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ), an initiative of ALJ Community Services, contributed in the creation of 279 job opportunities for young Saudis. The new jobs were created in the Makkah train project.
Throughout the project, BRJ cooperated with Asfar and Aamal company to offer the jobs to applicants and interview them to select the right candidates. Employment contracts were then signed with the successful candidates, who started working during last Hajj season.
Aatif Filimban, director of Asfar, said that the company has provided the said job opportunities, and coordinated with BRJ to select the qualified young men for seasonal jobs as station managers and crowd control officials. Filimban stated that after the selection process, a two-month training course was organized for the chosen candidates on how to perform their tasks in the operation of the Makkah train.
