ABU DHABI, 25th October, 2016 (WAM)--- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, on Tuesday opened the 10th edition of Najah (Najah 2016), a leading higher education and career exhibition, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Organisers of the event, whose name means success in Arabic, expect to attract up to 15,000 students and parents helping them connect with opportunities that can change their future.

Najah 2016 seeks to provide an opportunity for a school student (Grades 10-12) to meet and discuss their future path with representatives of over a hundred prestigious local and international colleges and universities from the USA, UK, Japan, Malaysia, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Hungary.

The Najah Knowledge Zone was introduced this year to offer a series of free-to-attend seminars running across the three-day event to educate students, teachers, counsellors or parents on a number of education-related topics.

Participating establishments include Middlesex University, Jumeirah University, Western Illinois University, Queens University Belfast and the University of Oxford.

Supported by the Abu Dhabi Education Council, Najah is held twice a year, once in Abu Dhabi and once in Al Ain, under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak.
