Four oil companies located in the governorate of Kebili spent three million dinars to the promotion of private initiative in the region and to finance small projects as part of the societal responsibility programme, that they started implementation for more than one year.

To this end, three agreements were signed between the Tunisian Company of Petroleum Activities (ETAP), the Tunisian Solidarity Bank (BTS), The Bank of Financing Small and Medium Enterprises Activities (BFPME), the development associations in Kebili and the four oil companies.

These companies active in the governorate of Kebili are ETAP, "Winstar", "Perenco" and "Mazarine".

The first agreement signed between ETAP and the BTS of an amount of 500,000 dinars consists of funding interventions by 30% in favour of promoters.

The second agreement between BTS and seven development associations is for granting micro credits worth 900 thousand dinars to finance small projects.

The value of the third agreement signed between BTS and BFPME is of 600, 000 dinars so as to facilitate access to finance projects with a capital of one million dinars. The intervention will have a ceiling not exceeding 25% of the total cost of the capital without any interest (interest rate 0).
