Doha: Seef Limited participated effectively at Qatar Career Fair 2011 under the slogan, "Develop your future with Seef Limited". Company staff at the Fair have speeded up the process of the initial filtration of job applications with on the spot interviews aiming of handing in job offers to qualified Qatari graduates throughout the Fair.
Seef Limited is a joint venture company with 80 percent shares held by Qatar Petroleum (QP) and 20 percent by United Development Company (UDC). The main product is Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) at a capacity of 100,000 MT per year. LAB is a major ingredient in the manufacture of domestic detergents and it is environmentally friendly. Also, a 3600 tonnes per annum of the by-product Heavy Alkyl Benzene (HAB) is produced, which is used as lube oil base stock.
The Company was incorporated under the law of Qatar and was registered in July 2004. The SEEF Plant is located adjacent to QP Refinery in the industrial area of Mesaieed about 40km from Doha. This location has been selected for its source of feedback and sharing of various utilities of common use with the Refinery.
