United Arab Emirates - SAS - the leader in business analytics software and service in the Middle East - has been recently named a Leader in the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools, based on completeness of vision and ability to execute. This is the fifth year that SAS has been named a leader.*'

"At SAS, we always strive to be the pioneer in providing complete enterprise data integration solutions for faster, efficient and better decision-making capabilities for organizations," said Shukri Dabaghi, SAS' Regional Director for the Middle East and Francophone Africa. "Being recognized as a Leader for the fifth consecutive year affirms our commitment to maintain our market leading position in providing Data Integration Tools to regional businesses."

According to the Gartner report, "Enterprise buyers increasingly see data integration as a strategic requirement, for which they want comprehensive data delivery capabilities, flexible deployment models, and synergies with information and application infrastructures."

SAS provides enterprise data integration, ETL and ELT capabilities primarily through its SAS® Data Management  offering,  virtual views of traditional and emerging data sources via SAS Federation Server, extremely high-volume low-latency pattern matching and decision management with SAS Event Stream Processing, and   self-service big data preparation and data cleansing capabilities for business users through SAS Data Loader for Hadoop.

The report's authors note that, "Gartner estimates that the data integration tool market was worth approximately $2.4 billion in constant currency at the end of 2014, an increase of 6.9% from 2013. The growth rate is above the average for the enterprise software market as a whole, as data integration capability continues to be considered of critical importance for addressing the diversity of problems and emerging requirements. A projected five-year compound annual growth rate of approximately 7.7% will bring the total to more than $3.4 billion by 2019 (see "Forecast: Enterprise Software Markets, Worldwide, 2012-2019, 2Q15 Update")."

SAS Data Management helps customers boost productivity and increase time to insight by working from a unified data management platform with embedded data quality and common metadata that spans both data management and analytics. SAS Data Management has been implemented at more than 14,000 organizations worldwide.
