BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--Kuwait's Combined Group Contracting Co., or CGC, Tuesday said it has submitted the lowest-cost bid amounting to 35.89 million Kuwaiti dinars ($129.3 million) in a tender for a local water project.

The project involves the supply, construction, and maintenance of four pipelines to transport distilled water from Al Zour South Distillation Plant to Al Zour Water Complex 2, the company said in a statement posted on the Kuwait bourse website.

CGC said in the statement that it hasn't yet received any notification specifying that it has been awarded the deal.

CGC shares are trading up 2.8% at KWD1.480 in a slightly negative overall market.
