Ovanes Mikhaylov appointed as Managing Director in an attempt to reinforce and strengthen the company's presence in the region
Dubai - Kaspersky Lab announces the appointment of Ovanes Mikhaylov as the new Managing Director in the Middle East. Ovanes has delivered great results in his previous roles at Kaspersky Lab over the last 10 years. In his new role he will be responsible for strategic planning and implementation to reinforce the company's regional leadership in the B2C market and strengthen its B2B presence.
"The Middle East is an interesting and rapidlydeveloping market that understands the importance of IT. I'm looking forwardto applying my international experience in management and sales here. One of the most important tasks ahead of us will be strengthening our partner network in the region, helping local companies boost their own business while expanding Kaspersky Lab's customer base, and making security solutions available with high-quality services", said OvanesMikhaylov.
Ovanes joined Kaspersky Lab in 2004 as a Channel Sales Manager of the International Distribution Department in the company's headquarters in Moscow in 2004. His skills and professionalism earned him a promotion to become General Manager of Kaspersky Lab Iberia in 2008. As Managing Director forKaspersky Lab Middle East, Ovanes will be based in Dubai, UAE, reporting directly to Garry Kondakov, Chief Business Officer.
