The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (MBRE) is inviting small, medium and large businesses and investors to be part of the Entrepreneur Business Village, the city's first integrated hub dedicated to entrepreneurs and business innovation.
Commercial space within the landmark project in the heart of Dubai will be offered at special rates from June 28 to July 2, the MBRE said.
The Entrepreneur Business Village, a brand new purpose-built one million square feet facility, is located adjacent to the Clock Tower roundabout in Deira. A number of public and federal bodies are moving to the Village premises, including the MBRE offices, the Dubai Department of Economic Development, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade, Dubai Shopping Festival Office, Dubai Export Development Corporation, Business Incubation Center and Aswaaq.
Meanwhile, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lebanon's FFA Private Bank for the benefit of young entrepreneurs in the region. The agreement comes as part of the Philips Innovation Programme initiative, and is designed to reaffirm the foundation's commitment to facilitate access to capital for young entrepreneurs in the region, while encouraging them to start their own business ventures.
The foundation has entered into alliances with several organisations to help the region achieve knowledge capabilities and social progress.
The MoU with FFA Private Bank is a right step in this direction, which offers a platform for the youth to not only create opportunities for themselves, but also help the wider community.
