SMEs contribute to over 95% of the total enterprise population in Dubai

The IT software and services industry, according to a BMI Research report, was valued at AED 9.9bn in 2015. Buoyed by increasing modernizations of business operations in the public and private sectors including SMEs in the UAE, enterprise solutions, and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions lead the way in the industry which is expected to grow by 8.47 % per annum until 2018. Statistics released by Dubai SME--an agency of Dubai Government's Department of Economic Development, suggests that SMEs account for over 95% of the enterprise population in Dubai.
