Exhibition showcases various academic, training, & vocational programmes

The 2015 Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX) Abu Dhabi opened today (Wednesday, April 22, 2015) at the Beach Rotana Hotel to provide students with information on quality education options from within the UAE and 12 other countries from around the world. GETEX Abu Dhabi runs through Friday, April 24, 2015.

The Abu Dhabi edition of GETEXis timed to align with the primary intake calendar of higher education institutions in the UAE and abroad. The student selection process is in full swing during this period and so the exhibition will take the opportunity to showcase a selection of academic, training, and vocational courses for learners of all age groupspredominantly from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain who are keen to explore their study options before enrolling in a university or a course of their choice.

Abu Dhabi's private education sector is witnessing an upward trend fuelled by the rising awareness among students and parents about new education and trainingoptions that are crucial to filling the needs of the UAE job market. Additionally, by 2020, the emirate's private schools will need to caterto over 280,000 student placements, translating intohigher volumes of school graduates looking for quality higher education. GETEX Abu Dhabi intends to address this growing demand for diversified education and professional training options for Emirati and expatriate learners.

GETEX Abu Dhabi 2015 will be attended by over 5,000 learners from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain who will network with more than 60 education providers from 12 countries over a period of three days. The show ends on Friday, April 24, 2015.
