Mideast Management Training Institute unveils 2015 training program catering to government and private sector employees in the country
Mideast Management Training Institute (MMTI) today announced the launch of its 2015 Distinctive training programs, at a press conference held in Dubai. Among the several training programs unveiled was a first-of-its kind stress relieving program in the UAE called 'Stress-free with TRE'. This unique three-day training workshop targeted at employees in both the government and private sector, has been developed in order to implement self-empowering tools that are highly effective, not just in managing stress, but getting rid of stored stress, tension and anxiety, while equipping trainees to use these techniques on a daily or weekly basis, with significant and measurable results.
The American Medical Association has noted that stress is the basic cause of more than 60% of all human illness and disease. This includes heart disorders, many forms of cancer, strokes, and several other ailments. Even in the UAE, the stress level is alarmingly high among a significant percentage of the country's population. A survey by YouGov Siraj few years back revealed that 59 per cent of UAE residents were stressed out, 65 per cent because of increased workloads. In fact, work-related stress is a big contributing risk factor for heart ailments among many UAE residents.
Another new training program launched by MMTI is the Neuro Linguistics Programming for Project Managers (NLP4PM), designed specifically to address the 'knowing-doing' gap in effective project delivery through development of widely recognized behavioral competencies. NLP is a multi-dimensional process that involves the development of behavioral competence and flexibility, but also involves strategic thinking and an understanding of the mental and cognitive processes behind behavior.

"Each of our programs has been designed keeping in mind the requirements of the UAE's working population. The 'Stress-free with TRE' program for instance has been introduced after a thorough analysis of the local market in terms of stress levels experienced by the workforce. We have noticed that very often people do not know how to manage stress, and continuous stress for a period of time can lead to several serious health issues. The new program will offer insights to practical and physical ways to effectively manage stress, bringing long term personal and occupational health and well being to trainees."
MMTI also launched Certification courses for different ISO Standards which include but are not limited to the ISO 22301 Certificationcourse which gives the participants an opportunity to learn about the best practices for implementing and managing a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) as specified in ISO 22301.
The other training courses launched by MMTI include Agile Marketing; 21st century Dynamic Leadership; Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Green Marketing; High Impact Selling & High Speed Marketing; The Amazing Presentations... from development to delivery; The Art of Talent Management, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, etc.
In 2014, MMTI delivered 75 training programs and in total, approximately 1,125 participants registered and benefited from the institute's training programs that covered the corporate sector, government departments and the public sector.
