CAIRO (Zawya Dow Jones)--Egypt's state-owned Sugar and Integrated Industries Company has purchased 50,000 tons of raw sugar in a tender, according to an official.

The sugar was bought from Swiss company Eridana at $534 per ton, the lowest price offered, for shipment in July, Ramadan Mohammed Solyman, general manager at SIIC, said.
