World's most comprehensive project management certification on the market has now officially been launched in Arabic

Dubai - ESI International, the world's leading project management training company, is launching its Associate's Certification in Project Management in Arabic language.

The vital certification is now being taught in Arabic, and will lead to a qualification which opens the doors to a fascinating career.

ESI International has led the field in terms of vocational project management training for three decades. For the last 20 years, ESI International has worked together with the George Washington University (GWU) as its academic partner.

ESI Managing Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Alan Garvey, said: "The launch of our Associate's Certification in Arabic underlines not only our commitment to  the region, and to ensuring global quality and consistency of project management, but also reflects the growing desire of the Arabic-speaking world to excel and progress their careers in project management.''

With around 290 million speakers, Arabic is the fifth most popular language in the world, behind Mandarin Chinese, English, Spanish and Hindi. Population growth in the Arab region, which stretches from Syria to the Horn of Arica and Oman to Morrocco, is estimated by the World Bank to be growing at 9 million people per annum.

"The GCC countries combined economy is currently worth approximately $2.85 trillion and it has one of the fastest growing populations, so it will need to urbanise rapidly to keep pace. That in turn will increase demand for engineering projects which will need to  managed professionally, especially as the number of local university graduates continues to grow," added Garvey.

The certification involves three seperate courses. Firstly, candidates must study Managing Projects, the essential foundation course, during which they will gain the skills, knowledge and tools needed to start running each stage of a project's life cycle.

Next, students will learn how to undertake a proactive approach to Risk Management, using a practical eight-step process to manage risks, and learn how to identify threats and opportunities and weigh their value in a project.

The final and third course is in Scheduling and Cost Control which focuses on    managing project constraints such as time limits, human resources, materials, budgets and specifications.

ESI International's Regional Manager Rehan Naeem said: ''This certification, backed by GWU's School of Business, is ideal for professionals seeking a career in project management, programme management or business analysis. It also helps certificate holders prepare for higher industry-recognised credentials from Project Management Insitute and the International Institute of Business Analysis, as our courses are all aligned with and accredited by these bodies.''

ESI International will be participating as an exhibitor at the Federal Authority for Government HR's (FAHR) Conference 2015, which gets underway today, Monday 27th April. Held in the Sheikh Maktoum Hall, Dubai World Trade Center, ESI International will be showcasing the new Associate's Certification on their stand.
