Phases 5 and 6 launched with 129 new villas, making Dar Al Zain one of the largest residential developments in Muscat

First four phases of Seeb development sold out after sales launch

Muscat | 22 March, 2015: Zain Property Development has officially launched the pioneering project 'Dar Al Zain' in a prestigious event held under the auspices of H.H. Sayyid Taimur bin Asad bin Tariq Al Said and attended by a number of senior officials and media representatives. Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Moosa, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Zain Property Development, opened the event with a speech welcoming honoured guests and attendees, and announced the launch of phases 5 and 6 of the project. The expansion will add 129 residency units to the previous four phases, resulting in a total number of 304 distinguished residential villas to provide a comfortable and affordable environment for Omani families to live.

Mr. Misha'al bin Mohammed Abdullah, Managing Director of Zain Property Development then addressed the honoured guests and introduced the Dar Al Zain development, providing a background on the project from its inception in 2008 until today, while highlighting its many milestone achievements during this time.  "We began the project by visualising the ideal future of residential communities. We were dreaming of developing a residential compound that provides many options for Omani families offering quality details facilities to add more convenience for the residents, all with affordable prices for everyone. Decent housing is a right for every citizen but obtaining it sometimes can be challenging. With the Dar Al Zain development we provide housing solutions that enables everyone to own their own dream home," said Mr. Misha'al Abdullah.

He added, "After the great success of the first four phases, and selling the entire stock in record time, we decided to continue meeting the ongoing demand for our residential units by launching two more phases. Today, our project contains 123 villas from phases one, two and three, of which 95% of buyers are owner occupiers, Omani families who are living in the properties themselves rather than renting them out. Meanwhile phase four is currently under construction with 52 villas and a number of exclusive facilities for use by residents, including separate swimming pools and gyms for men and women, a football field, tennis court, child care zone, children's park, an entertainment center, multi-use cinema hall, mini market and a coffee shop. To add more convenience for the residents, onsite security and maintenance is provided 24hrs."

He added, "Today we are proud to announce phases 5 and 6, and over the next two years the compound will grow by adding an additional 129 villas. This makes Dar Al Zain one of the largest residential real estate developments in Muscat, and a real success story in the real estate sector."

Zain Property Development is launching phase 5 which, when completed will provide 21 spacious premium level villas with innovative and contemporary designs. The new villas will be built around an artificial lagoon, complete with a stunning central island in the centre of the lagoon that includes a private gym for residents of phase 5, as well as a garden and an open air coffee shop.  Meanwhile, phase 6 of the development will include an additional 108 villas with three and four bedrooms, each boasting its own swimming pool to cater to varying needs of different clients.

The sale of units in phases 5 and 6 was officially opened during the event, which also witnessed the signing of financing agreements with local banks, enabling buyers to benefit from a diverse selection of financing solutions provided by local banks.  In addition, Zain Property Development has unveiled the company's website the first of its kind in the region, through which clients can view and reserve their favourite properties and pay online, after viewing the details and maps of the properties, or the general site and the facilities. This comes as part of the latest developments within the local real estate market.

Mr. Misha'al Abdullah continued, "In recent years we have worked to provide high quality housing and multiple financing options to fit the needs of our clients through our partnerships with local banks. This way, the home buyer has a number of options to finance the purchase of their property.  Our clients can even choose their new homes at their convenience by visiting our website.  The only time there is a need to visit our office in Al Ghubra is to sign the contract."

The Dar Al Zain project is located 15 minutes away from Muscat International Airport and the Irfan project, the upcoming business hub of the capital. The project is also located near Al Seeb Seafront Developed, poised to become one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Muscat.  Dar Al Zain is situated in a prime location away from the disturbance of the city but conveniently close to key commercial centres, all that in an affordable price for large segments of citizens.
