A high level delegation from South Africa headed by Consul General of South Africa, Dubai H.E. Mr Manabile Shogole visited Al Maya Supermarket, informed Mr Kamal Vachani, Group Director, Al Maya Group.
The delegation included Mr. Andre Van de Venter - Councellor, South Africa Embassy - Abu Dhabi, Mr. Sake van der Wal, Consul (Economic), South Africa Consulate – Dubai and Mr. Sidharth Mehta, Trade Marketing Officer, South Africa Consulate – Dubai said Mr Kamal Vachani.
Al Maya stocks and sells a large number of South African products and with this visit of a high level delegation, we propose to enhance the business relationship with South African companies, added Mr Kamal Vachani.
Exports of South African FMCG products find a market in the UAE. Products like Oats, Sauces are great demand in the UAE, Al Maya Group Director said. We already stock a large number of South African products in Al Maya Supermarkets. The South African Consul General appreciated the efforts taken by Al Maya in promoting South African products. Al Maya is sending a high level delegation to study more products in South Africa for Al Maya Supermarkets, informed Mr Kamal Vachani.
