DUBAI, April 25 (Reuters) - Demand for U.S. routes not affected by flight cuts "is holding", Emirates airlines Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said on Tuesday.

Dubai-based Emirates, the largest international airline by passenger traffic, said last week it was cutting flights on five U.S. routes following a decline in demand caused by President Donald Trump's travel restrictions.

Emirates said it would reduce the frequency of direct flights to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Seattle, Boston, and Los Angeles.
