ASTANA, 11th June, 2017 (WAM) -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in Expo 2017 Astana which opened in the Kazakh capital yesterday.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the kingdom is taking part in the event with a pavilion supervised by King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, in cooperation with a group of government agencies and private sector companies related to energy fields. Commenting on Saudi Arabia's participation, Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources and chairman of King Abdullah City for Energy and Renewable Energy, said that the participation of the kingdom in the exhibition comes to highlight the ambitious development plans and projects launched in the Kingdom in the fields of energy.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2017.
