Amman - More measures and decisions are underway to spur growth in the tourism industry and address challenges arising from regional turmoil, according to Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Lina Ennab.

The minister told a meeting with Arab and foreign reporters that her ministry has devised plans to upgrade the tourism infrastructure, develop tourist products and introduce best practices.

She indicated that the ministry adopted a tourist sites management system in partnership with the private sector to improve services and organize more activities and festivities at tourist locations. Ennab emphasized that the private sector have a key role in providing tourist-related services and products at prices to stimulate growth in this vital sector of the national economy.
