Jan 13 (IFR) - The Arab Republic of Egypt has appointed BNP Paribas, Citigroup, JP Morgan and Natixis as joint lead managers for a series of investor meetings in the Middle East, US and Europe commencing January 17.

A multi-tranche 144A/Reg S senior unsecured US dollar benchmark offering with five and 10-year maturities under Egypt's GMTN programme may follow.

A longer-dated 30-year tranche could also be considered.

The roadshow will visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai on January 17; New York on January 18; Boston on January 19; Los Angeles on January 20; and finish in London on January 23.

The sovereign is rated B3 stable by Moody's and B stable by Fitch.
